An Analysis of The Current State and Development of Green Energy in The Republic of Uzbekistan

Abstract

The article analyzes Uzbekistan's energy sector, which is undergoing significant transformation aimed at increasing the share of renewable energy sources (RES) and reducing dependence on natural gas. Green energy is considered as a system for generating energy based on renewable natural resources, including solar, wind, hydropower, geothermal, and bioenergy. The purpose of this study is to analyze the dynamics of renewable energy sources development in Uzbekistan.
