Pre-Service English Language Teachers' Professional Digital Competence
Abstract
The article explores the concept of professional digital competence among pre-service English language teachers. In the context of global digital transformation and the integration of technology in education, the ability of future teachers to effectively use digital tools has become a core component of professional readiness. The paper discusses theoretical foundations, models of digital competence, and practical approaches to developing these skills during teacher training. The results emphasize that digital competence is not limited to technical literacy but also includes pedagogical, communicative, and ethical dimensions of teaching in the digital era.
