Abstract
The production of knitted goods in the light industry has entered a phase of rapid development after the 20s of the last century. Today, the global production of knitwear accounts for more than 35% of total textile products. This figure is expected to be above 50 per cent by 2025. This, in turn, requires the introduction of modern technologies in enterprises, based on the demands and needs of consumers for the quality of knitted products.
